WALK MS FAQs
What time do Walks start?
Colorado Walk MS events start at 9:30 am and Wyoming Walk MS events start at 10:00 am, however, registration, fun and activities start after 7:30 am.
How long are Walk routes?
All Walk MS events have a one and three mile route option; some Walk locations have additional longer route options.
Is there a registration fee to participate?
While there is no registration fee for the Walk, participants are requested to make a fundraising commitment of at least $50.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Because the weather in Colorado and Wyoming is unpredictable, all Walks will take place rain or shine. Dress in layers and bring your sunscreen!
Are dogs allowed?
All Walk MS locations are dog friendly! Please keep your furry friend on a leash, and waste clean up is expected.
Is the route handicapped accessible?
All Walk MS routes are accessible for scooters and wheelchairs, by walker, or with a cane. There will also be accessible restrooms at each site.
Can I use my scooter or do I need to walk the route?
Scooters and power chairs are permitted at Walk MS. However, because Walk MS is an outdoor event, charging stations will not be available. Please be sure that your scooter or chair is fully charged and that it has enough power to make it around the route and through the event venue. For people using these devices, we suggest completing our 1-mile route instead of the 3-mile route so that the battery does run out and we can see you at the finish line!
I want to bring my kids with me. Do they need to register?
Yes, you can click Register Another to register them when you sign up.
What if I want to walk but haven't registered?
You can register online, mail in a paper registration form, or register the day of the event at your Walk MS site.
I want to register someone else on my computer, but the site won't let me because I'm already registered.
The Walk MS website "remembers" you on your computer. If you want to register someone else you'll have to log out first, and then try again.
Why should I start/join a team?
It's easy to start a team! It's a group of four or more family members, friends or co-workers who wish to walk together to create a world free of MS. Find out more
